When will I be able to eliminate my last blood pressure pill?

I have been on a Fruitarian raw vegan diet for 3 years now. I was able to get ride of 3 blood pressure medications but I am still taking one pill( 20 mg of benicar low dosage0 Last year my BP went so low that I was advised to get ride of the last pill. But then 2 months later my BP went up so I had to take it again. Now it seems that my BP is again low 110/65 so I am wondering if one day I will be able to eliminate that last pill? I am 48 6.2 for 160 pounds , feel great on my diet and do Zen Meditation as well every day.

Hi Roland….I’m really happy to hear that you are taking control of your life by eating well.Actually you might just want to stay on this last pill for a while longer.Just to see if this drug will still maintain your BP,and if so after being on this drug a little longer then maybe you might be able to stop taking it.But I really would not advise you to stop it just yet.Give it time to even out your BP for a while longer,then GOD willing…you can stop.Again..I think it’s great how well you care for yourself..good job!!! I hope that all works out for you with stopping this medication,but until then take good care of yourself…..:).
